Sweets and Seats is the cutest little cafe in Downtown Asheville NC that’s focused on pastries ,cakes, coffee and boba. My husband and I were driving by and saw a large Boba cup outside and well..it piqued our interest. We visit Asheville a couple of times a year and Sweets and Seats Asheville was a delightful new find.
Upon stepping into this charming cafe, you’re immediately greeted by an ambiance that radiates femininity, creating an atmosphere that’s both soothing and visually pleasing. The lighting is soft and dreamy, casting a warm glow over the room, creating an inviting and enchanting atmosphere.
My favorite part about the restaurant is how spacious it is, it can be quite deceiving when you walk in, tricking you into thinking that it’s a small cafe, but as soon as you walk to the register and turn right, you realize that there is so much more space. And it’s just as beautiful as the front.
I was fortunate to meet the owner of Sweets and Seats Asheville and she’s just as sweet as her pastries. My husband told her that I was a blogger and she was extremely accommodative. Her story of why she opened this cafe was truly inspiring, especially for someone like me who dreams of one day having their own cozy cafe and bookstore. I enjoyed interacting with her.

The moment your gaze falls upon the pastry display in Sweet and Seats Cafe, you’re met with a sight that’s almost too beautiful to believe. In this cafe, every dessert is an invitation to enjoy not only in flavor but also the aesthetic pastry design.
3 desserts I got to try:
- Chocolate hazelnut Dacquoise
- Chocolate mousse cake
- Honey Caramel cream puff
My absolute favorite was the honey caramel cream puff. These little clouds of delight are a vision of perfection, each one identical in shape and size. The golden caramel drizzle on top glistens under the soft lighting, making them look almost too beautiful to eat and they taste heavenly.
Sweets and Seats Asheville offered different options to satisfy every palate. From rich and creamy milk teas to refreshing and fruity infusions, they had it all. What truly sets this place apart was its extensive boba selection.
Sweats and Seats Asheville is a paradise of flavors and and textures. This cafe is getting more popular by the day, and if you’re visiting Asheville definitely stop by and give them a try.
